On October 15, Dr. Kim Eagle, GenTAC chair and director of the Frankel Cardiovascular Center at University of Michigan, shared key insights from the 8th GenTAC Aortic Summit held in Tromsø, Norway in August.
The 8th Aortic Summit, in collaboration with the biennial meeting of the International Registry of Acute Aortic Dissection (IRAD), gathered 135 participants from 21 different countries – including adult and pediatric cardiologists, surgeons, geneticists, scientists, and trainees – to discuss the latest advancements in management, genetics, imaging, lifestyle, and surgical approaches for those with genetic aortic and vascular conditions.
